Generalizing ovals, rosettes are closed plane curves of positive curvature. For almost rosettes a finite number of points with vanishing curvature is admitted. The authors discuss the number of pairs of points on such a curve which divide the perimeter into equal parts and have an additional property, like one of the following: the connecting straight line is the normal to the curve at one point of the pair, the tangents at these points are parallel or the curvatures at these points have the same value. Furthermore the notion of constant width is generalized to rosettes and Barbier's theorem is shown to hold in this situation. [Reviewer's remark: Most of the results for perimeter dividing pairs on rosettes can be established for larger classes of curves using different methods of proof. No examples or constructions of rosette of constant width are given in this paper.]
