    This paper studies the existence and design methods of dynamic compensators and deadbeat controllers for discrete singular systems in the form \(Ex(k+1)+Ax(k)+Bu(k)\), \(y(k)=Cx(k)\), where x, y, u are the state, measured output, and the control. The coefficients E, A, B, C are assumed constant and the matrix E is singular. Results from the state feedback and observer theory for singular systems are used.
