    Let \(A_ j\) be an ideal class in a totally complex Galois extension \(k_ j\) of \({\mathbb{Q}}\), \(1\leq j\leq r\). Put \(d_ j=[k_ j : {\mathbb{Q}}]\). Let \(f_ j\) be a norm-form and \(g_ j: {\mathbb{R}}^{d_ j}\to {\mathbb{C}}^{d_ j/2}\) be a nonsingular linear map associated to \(A_ j\), \(1\leq j\leq r\). If \(k_ 1,...,k_ r\) are arithmetically independent then there exist constants \(c_ 1,c_ 2>0\) depending only on \(k_ 1,...,k_ r\) such that for every \(X>0\) the number of \({\mathfrak x}_ j=(x_{j1},...,x_{jd_ j})\in {\mathbb{Z}}^{d_ j}\), \(j=1,...,r\) with \(f_ 1({\mathfrak x}_ 1)=...=f_ r({\mathfrak x}_ r)\) and \(\| g_ j({\mathfrak x}_ j)\| \leq X^{1/d_ j},\) \(j=1,...,r\), is equal to \(c_ 1X+O(X^{1-c_ 2}),\) where \(\| {\mathfrak y}\| =\max_{1\leq i\leq r}| y_ i|\) for \({\mathfrak y}=(y_ 1,...,y_ r)\in {\mathbb{C}}^ r.\) The proof is based on a general method developed in an earlier paper of the author [J. Number Theory 24, 272-283 (1986; Zbl 0597.12015)].
