    \textit{I. Z. Ruzsa} [Acta Arith. 32, 313-347 (1977; Zbl 0311.10048)] has shown that if \(f: {\mathbb{N}}\to \Gamma\) is multiplicative, \(\Gamma\) some finite abelian group, then \(d(f,\Gamma,\gamma):=\lim _{x\to \infty} (1/x) \#\{n\in {\mathbb{N}} |\) \(n\leq x\), \(f(n)=\gamma \}\) exists and is positive as soon as \(\gamma\in f({\mathbb{N}})\). In particular \(d(f,\Gamma,\epsilon)>0\) where \(\epsilon\) is the unit element of \(\Gamma\). We prove the existence of some constant \(c(k)>0\) such that \(d(f,\Gamma,\epsilon)\geq c(k)\) for all finite abelian groups \(\Gamma\) of order k and all multiplicative functions \(f: {\mathbb{N}}\to \Gamma\).
