This continues work of Jónsson on the representation of finite length modular lattices by vector spaces or, more generally, permuting equivalences. Of course, the Arguesian law is necessary. If the skeleton is a chain it is also sufficient - requiring subdirect separation of characteristics for the vector representation, also. The basis is the coordinatization theorem of projective geometry.
