Conditions for well-posedness in Gevrey classes of the Cauchy problems for Fuchsian hyperbolic operators. II (Q1096083)

[For Part I see Funkc. Ekvacioj, Ser. Int. 28, 193-211 (1985; Zbl 0587.35060).] Well-posedness in appropriate Gevrey classes is proved for a Cauchy problem for a class of Fuchsian hyperbolic operators of arbitrary order generalizing standard strictly hyperbolic Fuchsian operators on one hand and non-strictly hyperbolic operators degenerating with respect to time and spatial variables on the other hand. The well-posedness conditions depend on the lower order terms.
