The linear theory of anisotropic elastostatics is considered with the purpose of establishing a complete set of generators of conservation laws. The approach follows the lines of Noether's theorem but involves the more general notion of invariance up to a divergence term. The symmetry transformations are allowed to depend on the position, the displacement, and also on the displacement gradient. It is found that any conservation law in anisotropic elastostatics is determined by a linear combination of sixteen independent generators which are given explicitly.
