Au sujet des flots riemanniens sur le groupe nilpotent de Heisenberg. (On Riemannian flows on the nilpotent Heisenberg group) (Q1100741)

The Heisenberg-Riemannian space defined as \({\mathbb{R}}^ 3 \)equipped with the metric \[ ds^ 2=dx^ 2+dy^ 2+(dz+y dx-x dy)^ 2, \] is considered. The metric is left invariant under the group action defined by the exponential of \[ \{(x,y,z),(x',y',z')\}\quad \to \quad (x+x',y+y',z+z'+xy'-x'y). \] The author proves that the only Riemannian flows are those which are isometric. The concept of Riemannian flows was adopted from an article by \textit{Y. Carrière} [Astérisque 116, 31-52 (1984; Zbl 0548.58033)].
