Let G be a set-valued map from a Banach space E to a finite-dimensional space Y. Given a point \(x_ 0\in E\) and \(y_ 0\in G(x_ 0)\), a high- order open mapping principle establishes conditions under which \(y_ 0\in Int G(x_ 0+\eta B)\), where B is the closed unit ball in E. The author proves that this assertion holds if graph(G) is closed and Y is equal to the closed cone spanned by \(\cup_{k\geq 1}G^ k(x_ 0,y_ 0)\), where \(G^ k(x_ 0,y_ 0)\) denotes the set of k-th order variation of G at \((x_ 0,y_ 0)\).
