Selective and bi-selective derivatives (Q1102390)

The authors obtain some results concerning selective and bi-selective derivatives. These notions were introduced by \textit{R. J. O'Malley} [Acta Math. Hung. 29, 77-97 (1977; Zbl 0345.26003); ibid. 41, 111-117 (1983; Zbl 0526.26002)]. It is shown, e.g., that there exists a real Lipschitz function f on [0,1] such that f has a selective derivative everywhere and it is not Baire 1 on any subinterval of [0,1].
