This paper deals with estimation of performance measures of a two-unit repairable system under the assumption that the repair times of the units are governed by a power function law with scale parameter \(\theta\) and shape parameter p. Such a choice of repair time distribution assures the user that the repair time of the units would be finite with probability one. Failure rates of the units are constant \(\lambda\). Estimates of \(\lambda\), \(\theta\) and p are provided under two sampling schemes.
