A Hodge structure in the complex space consists of a filtration of the space by complex subspaces, of an integer lattice in it and of an integer-valued bilinear form on the lattice subject to some conditions. These ingredients model the structures in the cohomology space of a Kähler manifold: the filtration in De Rham cohomology by numbers of holomorphic differentials in differential forms, the integer cohomology lattice and the intersection pairing. The classifying space of Hodge structures of the given type is the factor-space D/\(\Gamma\) of some domain in the corresponding flag manifold by a discrete automorphism subgroup of the lattice. Cohomologies of the classifying spaces serve as characteristic classes of families of Kähler manifolds. The real stable cohomology groups of the classifying spaces are calculated in the work explicitly and the integer ones - in terms of the cohomology of the infinite integer general linear group GL(\({\mathbb{Z}})\).
