Additivity of certain functionals and the construction of invariant integrals (Q1104441)

In the paper we show that certain properties of a functional imply additivity. Using this result we give a short proof for the existence of invariant integrals on locally compact spaces. As a second application we present a proof for the additivity of the upper integral on the set of measurable functions.
