Strongly harmonizing operators and strongly harmonizable approximations of continuous random fields on LCA groups (Q1104633)

The authors consider the complex linear space of continuous random fields on a locally compact Abelian group, G, and construct on it a family of strongly harmonizing operators. These are used to show that the subset of strongly harmonizable fields with compact support and which admit a spectral stochastic density is dense in this linear space. Under further conditions on G, they derive some sequential approximation properties of such harmonizable fields.
