Suppose G is a Fuchsian group acting on the unit disk \(\Delta\). \(\zeta\in \partial \Delta\) is a transitive point for G if: given any \(z\in \Delta\) and any hyperbolic line \(L\subset \Delta\), the ray \(R(z,\zeta)\) converges to L in the sense of Euclidean convergence of endpoints. \(T_ G\) is the set of transitive points for G. Suppose \(\Gamma\subset G\) is a subgroup of finite index. It is shown that \(T_ G=T_{\Gamma}\), \(H_ G=H_{\Gamma}\) and \(P_ G=P_{\Gamma}\) where \(H_ G\) (respectively, \(P_ G)\) is the set of hyperbolic (respectively, parabolic) fixed points of G. The statement about transitive points requires geometric proof while the assertion about fixed points follows from elementary group theory.
