A set of data has a Guttman scale iff a corresponding graph is a threshold graph. The relationship of threshold graphs to biorders and Guttman scales is used to consider intersections and unions of Guttmann scales and biorders as intersections and unions of threshold graphs. A possible way of introducing levels of dominations is shown and used for defining an extended Guttman scale for the data.
