Strongly propagative systems, generalized nonselfadjoint wave equations and their steady-state solutions (Q1107733)

The first-order systems describing wave propagation in classical physics have many special properties. They may often be reduced to families of wave equations. We discuss certain vector wave equations with matrix potentials which are quasi long range and their relation to the equations of classical physics and the steady-state solutions of these problems.
