For a finite group G the author considers G-invariant lattices on a \({\mathbb{Q}}G\)-module V which are integral and of minimal discriminant with respect to some G-invariant quadratic form q: \(V\to {\mathbb{Q}}\). The paper consists of two rather independent parts. First it is shown that for a fixed V and q the lattices as above may be viewed as the vertices of a connected ``neighbour'' graph which is finite if V is absolutely simple. The main part of the paper deals with the following situation: G a p- group, p odd, V simple. In this case V is found to have forms for which the minimal discriminant is equal to p. Given such a form the number of classes of maximal lattices is discussed in connection with the first class number factor of the cyclotomic field \(End_ G V\).
