The concept of a diagonalizable algebra (DA) has been introduced by Magari in order to provide an algebraic treatment of incompleteness logical phenomena. A first representation has been obtained as a particular case of Halmos' duality for hemimorphisms. On the other hand, some relations between DA's and scattered topological spaces have been pointed out by Esakia, Buskowski and Prucnal (the special operation \(\sigma\) of DA's is interpreted as the derived set operator). In this paper we develop this idea, and achieve a purely topological representation for DA's by introducing ``relatively scattered bitopological spaces''. A topological characterization of the continuous maps corresponding to DA morphisms is also given. Thus the Stone duality is extended to DA's. The paper concludes with several applications of the previous results. Among other things, some results are proved about ``reflexive points''.
