[For part I see the preceding review.] We consider the problem of solvability of a class of inverse problems for the right-hand side of a second-order differential equation in a real Hilbert space H. The uniqueness theorems are established with the help of a priori estimates and the existence theorems are proved by the Galerkin method. In a paper by \textit{A. D. Iskenderov} [Izv. Akad. Nauk Az.SSR, Ser. Fiz.-Tekh. Mat. Nauk 1976, No.2, 58-63 (1976; Zbl 0345.35084)] the uniqueness of solution of the inverse problems, analogous to those considered in the present note, has been investigated but not the existence.
