The author considers the best approximation problem in a normed space with linear polynomials of order n whose coefficients runs over a given closed set of the n-space. If the norm is a limit of some seminorms and the constraint set is in certain sense the limit of corresonding constraint sets, then the accumulation points of the best (restricted) seminorm approximation points are best (restricted) approximation points in the sense of the norm.
