This paper considers a general dynamic spatial price equilibrium problem over discrete time periods and finite horizon. By now it has become usual to formulate this sort of problems in the framework of networks what the author does. The approach is analogous to that of \textit{T. Takayama} and \textit{G. G. Judge} [``Spatial and temporal price and allocation models'', Amsterdam, North-Holland (1971)] and leads to an alternative variational inequality formulation of the problem at hand based on early work of the first author. Computational results obtained by means of a Gauss-Seidel serial decomposition are given.
