    A sequence \(s=\{s_ n\}\) of complex numbers is called \(J_ p\)-summable to \(\sigma\) \((J_ p-\lim s_ n=\sigma)\) if \(\lim_{x\to 1-}q_ s(x)/q(x)=\sigma,\) where \(q(x):=\sum^{\infty}_{n=0}p_ nx^ n\) \((p_ 0>0\), \(p_ n\geq 0)\) and \(q_ s(x):=\sum^{\infty}_{n=0}p_ ns_ nx^ n\) \((0<x<1)\). The \(M_ p\)-summability is defined as follows: \(\lim_{n\to \infty}1/P_ n\sum^{n}_{k=0}p_ ks_ k=\sigma,\) \(P_ n:=\sum^{n}_{k=0}p_ k\); \((M_ p-\lim s_ n=\sigma)\). It is known that \(M_ p-\lim s_ n=\sigma\) implies \(J_ p-\lim s_ n=\sigma\), but not conversely. However under additional conditions on s the converse implication also holds. Such conditions are called Tauberian-conditions (TC). The authors prove some interesting results of type TC. Their theorems include several known theorems, e.g. that of Littlewood, Hardy and Littlewood, Mikhalin, D. Borwein and A. Meir, and they give some new results too. We recall only one sample theorem: If \(p_ 0>0\), \(p_ n\geq 0\), \(P_ n\to \infty\) and \(P_{2n}/P_ n=O(1)\), then \(s_ n=O(1)\) is if and only if a Tauberian-condition of \(J_ p\to M_ p\)-type if one of the following two (equivalent) conditions \[ \lim_{t\to 1-}\liminf_{n\to \infty}\frac{1}{P_ n}\sum_{tn<k\leq n}p_ k=0, \] \[ \lim_{t\to 1+}\limsup_{n\to \infty}\frac{1}{P_ n}\sum_{n<k\leq tn}p_ k=0 \] holds.
