Denote by \(\Lambda =(S/R,\alpha)\) the crossed product order in the crossed product algebra \(A=(L/K,\alpha)=M_ r(D)\), with factor set \(\alpha\), where L/K is a Galois extension of the local field K, and R and S are the valuation rings in K and L resp. Let e be the ramification index of rad(R) in S, and m the index of the central skewfield D over K. The authors prove that there are e/m maximal R-orders in A containing \(\Lambda\), extending results of \textit{G. J. Janusz} in the tamely ramified case [Commun. Algebra 8, 697-706 (1980; Zbl 0432.16005)] and the second author in the totally and wildly ramified case [J. Pure Appl. Algebra 41, 87-98 (1986; Zbl 0592.16023)] to the general situation. The maximal orders are listed explicitly, and then the irreducible \(\Lambda\)-lattices are described.
