Stepwise algorithm to find the optimal path in optimal control problems with phase constraints (Q1111156)

An algorithm is described to find the optimal path of a class of optimal control problems with phase constraints. The algorithm separately constructs the parts of the optimal path on the boundary and inside the feasible region. The notion of convexity with respect to the family of extremal paths is introduced in order to prove the algorithm.
