A method is described for approximate estimation of no-failure operation and serviceability indexes of systems under conditions of fast restorability, fast component failure detection, fast standby switching, and low rate of additional failures during periodic testing. A comparison of approximate estimates of reliability index with exact calculated results and with the resuls of simulation show close agreement.
