Problème de Cauchy faiblement hyperbolique. II. (Weakly hyperbolic Cauchy problem. II) (Q1111772)

[For part I see Bull. Sci. Math., II. Sér. 106, 259-272 (1982; Zbl 0523.35069).] This paper is related to the previous author's paper, where some regularizers in the class of Volterra integro-pseudodifferential operators have been constructed. They solved the non-characteristic Cauchy problem for second order hyperbolic equations and first order hyperbolic systems with two equations. The present paper extends the results of the author's paper mentioned above. It contains two new theorems dealing with Cauchy problems for second order hyperbolic equation as well as for a system of two equations of first order equations. They give some sufficient conditions for the existence of some special classes of solutions of the above Cauchy problems.
