Recently, \textit{H. Bauer} [Bull. Sci. Math., II. Sér. 109, 337-361 (1985; Zbl 0594.31017)] has shown that the classical results of Brelot on the fine limit behavior of bounded harmonic functions at an irregular boundary point hold for every harmonic space in the sense of Bauer. Using a different approach we shall even establish the existence of fine boundary limits of bounded finely harmonic functions at every irregular boundary point of the finely open set U on which these functions are defined. Moreover, it will turn out that Doob's convergence property which played an important role in the proof of the main results by Bauer (loc. cit.) is not needed.
