Nochmals: Hyperovale in Steiner-Tripel-Systemen. (Again: Hyperovals in Steiner-triple-systems) (Q1112328)

This paper continues the work of the author and \textit{H. Lenz} [Math. Semesterber. 32, 19-49 (1985; Zbl 0567.51010)] investigating hyperovals in Steiner triple systems. It is shown that if S is a system of order v, where \(v\geq 15\) and \(v\equiv 3\) or 7 (mod 12), constructed from orbits under \({\mathbb{Z}}_ v\) on a polygon, then there is precisely one subsystem of order \(r=(v-1)\) and hence precisely one hyperoval.
