The motion of a viscous incompressible fluid is considered which partially fills a circle of the radius R rotating with a high angular velocity \(\Omega\). Two natural small parameters \(E=g/\Omega^ 2R\) and \(Re=y/\Omega R^ 2\) arise in the problem. The method of boundary layer makes it possible to derive asymptotic expressions for the coordinates of the center of mass of the fluid and to find the form of the free surface of the fluid at stabilized motion.
