The author gives a positive solution of the following W. Rudin's question posed by him at the Congress of Michigan University in 1985: ``Does a holomorphic function \(f\neq 0\) in the unit ball B of \({\mathbb{C}}^ n\) (n\(\geq 2)\) exist such that its radial limit be 0 a.e. or \(\infty\) a.e.?'' (For another positive answer, see \textit{M. Hakim} and \textit{N. Sibony} [Math. Ann. 276, 549-555 (1987; Zbl 0622.32002)]). But, the author establishes even more, i.e. that: There exists a subset E of the unit sphere S of \({\mathbb{C}}^ n\), of total measure on the circumference of each disc passing through the origin and such that, for each function \(\phi\) continuous on S, there exists a holomorphic function f on B with the property that for each \(z\in E\), \(\lim_{r\to 1}f(rz)=\phi (z)\).
