    Let \(R\subseteq B({\mathcal H})\) be a von Neumann algebra. \(M_{R'}(B({\mathcal H}))\) denotes the space of all completely bounded R' bimodule homomorphisms of B(\({\mathcal H})\), i.e. all linear maps \(\phi\) :B(\({\mathcal H})\to B({\mathcal H})\) such that \(\phi (xTy)=x\phi (T)y\), \(x,y\in R'\), \(T\in B({\mathcal H})\), and \[ \sup \{| <\phi_ n(T)\xi,\eta >| | \quad T\in B({\mathcal H}^ n),\quad \| T\| =1,\quad \xi,\eta \in {\mathcal H}^ n,\quad \| \xi \| =\| \eta \| =1\}<\infty, \] where \(\phi_ n(T)=[\phi (T_{ij})]^ n_{i,j=1}\) for \(T=[T_{ij}]^ n_{i,j=1}\in B({\mathcal H}^ n)\). \(M_{R'}(B({\mathcal H}))\) is a dual R bimodule. We prove that a \(W^*\)-homomorphism \(\pi\) : (R,\({\mathcal H})\to (\pi (R),{\mathcal H}_{\pi})\) extends uniquely to a weak*- continuous, identity preserving R bimodule homomorphism \(\pi_ M: M_{R'}(B({\mathcal H}))\to M_{\pi (R)'}(B({\mathcal H}_{\pi}))\), i.e. \(\pi_ M(a\phi b)=\pi (a)\pi_ M(\phi)\pi (b)\), \(a,b\in R\). For \(T=[T_{ij}]^{\infty}_{i,j=1}\in B({\mathcal H}^{\infty})\) and \(\phi \in M_{R'}(B({\mathcal H}))\) let \(\phi_{\infty}(T)\) be the limit of the finite matrices \([\phi (T_{ij})]^ n_{i,j=1}\). If \(\pi\) : \(R\to B({\mathcal H}^{\infty})\), \(a\mapsto a\otimes 1\), is an amplification, then \(\pi_ M(\phi)=\phi_{\infty}\). thus \(\phi_{\infty}(xTy)=x\phi_{\infty}(T)y\) holds for infinite matrices \(x,y\in \pi (R)'\), \(T\in B({\mathcal H}^{\infty})\), although \(\phi\) is not normal in general.
