This work is devoted to an extension (``input-output'') description and study of the operators that map a finite set of variants and all of its subsets onto a segment of the real axis. These operators are an extension of choice functions, which in recent years are being widely studied in choice theory. For the operators being studied here, the concept of characteristic properties that isolate a region in a space is introduced; a graphic mechanism for generating them, which is an extension of the graph-dominant mechanism from choice theory, and natural operations on these operators are introduced and studied. The subspaces of the space being studied are, specifically, a set of operators that generate accessory functions in the spirit of fuzzy sets, and a set of operators that generate a probability.
