Let \({\mathcal A}\) be the mod p Steenrod algebra and \({\mathcal A}(n)\) be the sub-Hopf algebra of \({\mathcal A}\) generated by \(\beta\), \({\mathcal P}^ 1,...,{\mathcal P}^{p^{n-1}}\), with \({\mathcal P}^ i=Sq^{2i}\) for \(p=2\). \({\mathcal A}(2)\) is known to admit 1600 different \({\mathcal A}\)-module structures, and it is shown that all of them are realizable as the cohomologies of spectra.
