The buoyancy effects on the forced convective micropolar fluid flow and heat transfer on vertical continuous moving cylinder are studied using the theory of micropolar fluids formulated by \textit{A. C. Eringen} [J. Math. Mech. 16, 1-18 (1966)]. The governing momentum, angular momentum and energy equations have been solved numerically. Missing values of the velocity, angular velocity and thermal functions are tabulated for a range of values of the material parameters and transverse curvature parameter. It is observed that the wall shear stress and surface heat transfer rate increase with increasing buoyancy force and increasing transverse curvature of the surface.
