The paper deals with a generalized approximate version of the standard nonlinear parametric optimization problem. Questions of existence and continuity of its solution are studied. Some topological results are used to weaken the usual convexity assumptions and some noncompactness is also allowed. The results are applied to obtain some \(\epsilon\)-Nash equilibrium theorems for noncooperative games with some nonconvexity in the strategy sets. The theorems are generalizations of corresponding results of Tijs.
