    In Real Anal. Exch. 2, 85--103 (1977; Zbl 0376.26003) \textit{J. Foran} asked 12 questions. Let \(H=\{h: \langle 0,1 \rangle \to \langle 0,1 \rangle, h\) is a homeomorphism\(\}\), \(\bar H=\{h\in H: h\) is absolutely continuous\(\}\), \(\bar{\bar H}=\{h\in H: h\) and \(h^{-1}\) are absolutely continuous\(\}\), \(\text{diff} =\{f: \langle 0,1 \rangle\to \langle 0,1 \rangle: f\) is differentiable\(\}\), \(\text{bdiff} =\{f\in \text{diff} : f'\) is bounded\(\}\), \(C=\{f: \langle 0,1 \rangle\to \langle 0,1 \rangle: f\) is continuous\(\}\), \((S)=\{f: \langle 0,1 \rangle\to \langle 0,1 \rangle : f\) satisfies Banach's condition (S)\(\}\) and \(B_ 3=\{f\in C:\) the set \(\{y\in \langle 0,1 \rangle: f^{-1}(y)\) is at most countable\(\} \cap J\) contains a perfect set for each closed interval \(J\subset f( \langle 0,1 \rangle)\}.\) In three theorems there are given answers to Foran's questions 1, 6 and 7. Theorem 1. Let \(A_ 1\) and \(A_ 2\) be such classes of functions which satisfy inclusions \(\bar{\bar H}\subset A_ 1\subset (S)\) and \(\text{bdiff}\subset A_ 2\subset (S).\) Then \(A_ 1\circ A_ 2=\{f\circ g: f\in A_ 1,\;g\in A_ 2\}=(S),\) specially \(\bar H\circ \text{diff} =(S)\) (this is the answer to the question 7). Theorem 2. \(\text{VBG}_*\cap C=\text{diff}\circ H\) and \(\text{ACG}_*\cap C=\text{diff}\ngeq \bar{\bar H}\) (the second equality is the answer to the question 1). Theorem 3. For continuous functions: \(H\circ T_ 2=B_ 3\). This is the answer to question 6.
