Recently a shift-bit register random number generator has been attracted much attentions from the necessity of high-quality random numbers, which have no correlations and extremely long cycle length in some Monte Carlo simulations. This note shows a program listing of the shift-bit register generator R250 in the OCCAM programming language. The test results on the multitransputer systems at the University of Mainz are also presented.
