This is the third in a series of papers investigating the structural implications of the Arguesian law for modular lattices [see also the authors' papers in Order 2, 335-350 (1986; Zbl 0585.06003) and Acta Sci. Math. 51, No.3/4, 309-318 (1987; Zbl 0656.06010)]. The first two theorems concern situations in which, for a lattice glued from a filter and an ideal which are both Arguesian, one can locate any non-Arguesian configuration - and so get sufficient conditions for the whole lattice to be Arguesian. The second part of the paper relates the types of the non- Arguesian configurations to the structure of the skeleton of the lattice.
