For the Laplacian of the function the author considers the interpolation method on a closed three-dimensional triangulated surface of arbitrary shape. Under the constraint that the Laplacian of the function to be zero at points where the function values are unknown or that the Laplacian is minimized at all points of surface, two variants are constructed. Applications to the display of potential distributions are given.
