A fuzzification of Leontief's open input-output model of an economy is proposed by allowing some of the numbers in the input-output table to be imprecisely known, and modelled by fuzzy numbers with trapezoidal membership functions. A general sufficient condition for the existence of the fuzzy input-output model for an economy is given. Examples of two industry economies are shown. Some remarks on fuzzy input-output analysis for Leontief's closed model are added.
