This paper extends to oriented matroids of rank 3, Tverberg's theorem which is well known in convexity theory. Theorem: For any acyclic rank 3 oriented matroid M(V) on a set V, with \(| V| \geq 3m-2\), there is a point extension N(V\(\cup \{p\})\) of M(V) and a partition \(V_ 1,V_ 2,...,V_ m\) of V such that p belongs to each closure \(<V_ i>_ N\) in N. Actually, this theorem is proved in an equivalent form, in term of pseudoconfiguration of the real projective plane. (Rank 3 oriented matroids may be represented by pseudoconfigurations of points in the plane [\textit{R. Cordovil}, Sur les matroïdes orientés de rang 3 et les arrangements de pseudodroites dans le plan projectif réel, Eur. J. Comb. 3, 307-318 (1982; Zbl 0501.05021)].) Equivalent theorem: For any pseudoconfiguration A(V) of points in the real projective plane, with \(| V| \geq 3m-2\), there is a partition \(V_ 1,V_ 2,...,V_ m\) of V such that all convex hulls \(<V_ i>\) have a same point in common.
