The paper is devoted to the study of the connections between the finite multiple Nevanlinna-Pick matrix interpolation problem (NP problem) and two equivalent problems: Carathéodory matrix coefficient problem (CC problem)and the truncated trigonometric matrix moment problem (TM problem). The one-to-one correspondence between the first and the second and third problems is established on the basis of the definition and examination of the Toeplitz block-vector of the NP problem in a special class \({\mathcal G}_{p}\) and reduction of this first problem to solving the CC and TM problems associated with such a Toeplitz block-vector in both the nondegenerate and degenerate cases. The technique also include a matrix version of the Nevanlinna-Schur algorithm for the second problem involving linear functional transformations. The results obtained are applied to a characterization of a parametrization of solutions of the NP problem in the algorithmic form in terms of the so-called Toeplitz block-vector approach.
