Let \(X_1\) and \(X_2\) be two Banach spaces over the complex field \(\mathbb{C}\) and \(B(X_1,X_2)\) denote the Banach space of all bounded linear operators \(T: X_1\to X_2\) with the norm \(\|Tx\|= \sup\{\|T\|_2\mid\|x\|_1\leq 1\), \(x\in X_1\}\). In 1978 Nashed showed that for \(T\in B(X_1, X_2)\) and (1) \(\overline T= T+\sigma T\in B(X_1,X_2)\) with (2) \(\|T^+\|\|\delta T\|< 1\), if \((I+\delta TT^+)^{-1}\overline T\) maps \(\text{Ker}(T)\) into \(R(T)\), then \(\overline T^+\) exists and (3) \(\overline T^+= (I+ T^+\delta T)^{-1}T^+\) with (4) \(\|\overline T^+\|\leq \|T^+\|/(1-\|T^+\|\|\delta T\|)\). The Nashed's result (4) has not been found by now in Hilbert spaces because (2) is not the generalized inverse of \(\overline T\) in Hilbert spaces. The authors show that under similar conditions (1), (2) and the assumption \(\text{dim Ker }\overline T= \text{dim Ker }T< \infty\) or \(\overline T\) is a Type I perturbation of \(T\) (i.e. \(R(\overline T)\cap R(T)^\perp= 0\)), \(\overline T\) has the generalized inverse \(\overline T^+\) admitting a form for which (4) holds.
