    Let \(K\) be an algebraic number field, and \(f_i \in K[[z]]\), \(\xi \in K\), \(Q \in K[y_1, \dots, y_m]\). A relation \(Q(f_1(\xi), \dots, f_m(\xi)) =0\) is called global if it holds in any local field where all \(f_i(\xi)\) exist. Based on his previous work [Mat. Zametki 48, No. 2, 123--127 (1990; Zbl 0764.11031)] the author proves that for any \(a\in K\), \(a\neq 0\), the global relations among \[ 1, f_1(a), \dots, f_1^{(p_1-1)} (a), \dots, f_m(a), \dots, f_m^{(p_m-1)} (a) \] do not exist, where \[ f_i(z) = \sum^\infty_{n=0} {(\mu_{1,i})_n \cdots (\mu_{p_i},i)n \over (\lambda_{1,i})_n \cdots (\lambda_{q_i- 1,i})n} \left({z^{p_i-q_i} \over q_i-p_i} \right)^n, \quad i=1, \dots, m \] with \((\alpha)_0 =1\), \((\alpha)_n= \alpha (\alpha+1) \cdots (\alpha+ n-1)\) \((n\geq 1)\) and \(p_i > q_i\), provided the parameters \(\lambda\) and \(\mu\in \mathbb Q \backslash \mathbb Z\) satisfy certain natural conditions (here they are omitted). In particular, let \(\lambda, \alpha\) be algebraic numbers, \(\alpha \neq 0\), and \(H_\lambda (z)= \sum^\infty_{k=0} (\lambda+1)_k/z^{k+1}\). Then for any algebraic number \(a\), the global relation \(H_\lambda (\alpha)- a=0\) does not hold.
