A closed set \(F\subset\mathbb{C}\) is called a \(K\)-set if its complement with respect to \(\overline{\mathbb{C}}= \mathbb{C}\cup\{\infty\}\) is connected and locally connected at \(\infty\). For these sets Arakelyan's theorem on uniform approximation is valid. The authors show, that for any entire function \(f\) the filled level sets \(A_M= \{z\in\mathbb{C}: | f(z)|\leq M\}\), \(M>0\), are such \(K\)-sets. Further, they describe how to construct for a given closed set \(E\subset A_M\) a certain \(K\)-set \(F\) with \(E\subset F\subset A_M\) and additional properties.
