On the Ramanujan-Göllnitz-Gordon continued fraction (Q1127628)

Let \(H(q)\) be the Ramanujan-Göllnitz-Gordon continued fraction. The authors establish some identities satisfied by \(H(q)\), which yield relations between \(H(q)\), \(H(-q)\), and \(H(q^2)\), and also between \(H(q)\) and \(H(q^n)\). In addition, they obtain explicit formulas for \(H(e^{-\pi \sqrt n})\) and \(H(e^{-\pi \sqrt n/2})\). They show that the latter is always a unit.
