    Let \(F\) be the self-similar set generated by the similar contraction mappings \(\phi_i\) in \(\mathbb R^d\) with ratios \(c_i\), \(1\leq i\leq n\), i.e., \(F=\bigcup_{i=1}^n\phi_i(F)\). Let \[ \alpha _0(A)=\sup \Biggl\{\alpha\left|\varliminf_{\varepsilon \rightarrow 0}\frac{\varepsilon^{-d}{\text{m}_d}(\bigcup _{\sigma \in \Omega (\varepsilon)}\phi _ \sigma (A))}{\sum _{\sigma \in \Omega (\varepsilon)}c_\sigma ^{s(1-\alpha)}}= \infty\right. \Biggr\}, \] where \(A\supset F\) is a bounded open set and \(s\) is such that \(\sum _{i=1}^n c_i^s=1\). The authors obtain that: (I) \(\text{dim}_HF=\text{dim}_BF=\text{dim}_PF=\alpha_0s;\) (II) \({\mathcal H}^{\alpha_0s}(F)<\infty \) iff \(\underline{\text{lim}}_{\varepsilon \rightarrow 0}\frac{\varepsilon^{-d}{\text{m}_d}(\bigcup _{\sigma \in \Omega (\varepsilon)}\phi _\sigma (A))}{\sum _{\sigma \in \Omega (\varepsilon)}c_ \sigma ^{s(1-\alpha _0)}}<\infty\); (III) If \({\mathcal H}^{\alpha_0s}(F)>0\) then \(\varliminf_{\varepsilon \rightarrow 0}\frac{\varepsilon^{-d}{\text{m}_d}(\bigcup _{\sigma \in \Omega (\varepsilon)}\phi _\sigma (A))}{\sum _{\sigma \in \Omega (\varepsilon)}c_ \sigma ^{s(1-\alpha _0)}}>0\). In addition, the above results are generalized into the cases of MW-construction and recurrent sets.
