    Let \(X\) denote a class of holomorphic functions on a domain \(\Omega \subset \mathbb{C}^N\), and let \(a\in\Omega\). Gleason's problem \((\Omega, a,X)\) is the following problem: for any \(f\in X\) with \(f(a)=0\), find functions \(f_1,\dots, f_N\in X\) such that \(f(z)= \sum^N_{k=1} (z_k-a_k)f_k(z)\). The authors consider the egg domains \[ \Omega_\alpha: =\bigl\{(z,w) \in \mathbb{C}^{n+m},\;z\in \mathbb{C}^n,\;w\in \mathbb{C}^m; \quad | z|^2 +| w|^{2/ \alpha} <1\bigr\}, \quad 0<\alpha \leq 2. \] For \((z,w)\in \Omega_\alpha\) they define \[ {\mathcal L} (z,w)= \bigl(1-| z|^2 \bigr)^\alpha- | w|^2 \] and, for \(\sigma> -1\), \(1\leq p< \infty\) consider the weighted Bergman \(p\)-space \[ A^p_\sigma (\Omega_\alpha): =L^p (\Omega_\alpha, {\mathcal L}^\sigma dv) \cap H(\Omega_\alpha). \] The main result of the paper is the solvability of Gleason's problems \((\Omega_\alpha, 0,A^p_\sigma (\Omega_\alpha))\) for \(\sigma\geq 0\), \(1<p< \infty\) and \(\sigma> -1\), \(p=1\).
