    The authors derive conditions under which a singularly perturbed differential system \(dx/dt= f(t,x,y,\varepsilon)\), \(\varepsilon dy/dt= g(t, x,y,\varepsilon)\) with \(x\in\mathbb R^m\), \(y\in\mathbb R^n\), \(t\in\mathbb R\), \(\varepsilon> 0\) small, can be reduced to the ``block-triangular'' form \(du/dt= F(t,u,\varepsilon)\), \(\varepsilon dv/dt= G(t,u,v,\varepsilon)\).
